Best food I have had in a long time. Great service and setting . Lamb was awesome. My friend had the risotto and it was perfectly cooked. Onion soup very hot . Great endive arugula salad. Finished with grand mariner soufflé. Going back again. Even if the mama goose hissed at me.

Great place! We have family in Ridgefield and she had a full house so we couldn't stay there. We came and stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast for 3 nights and we will certainly be back again. Jean Pierre went out of his way to accommodate us from a very late arrival (Julie was great) to an exquisite breakfast everyday, to flexibility at check out. We stayed at a Suite which was plenty big for my husband, myself and our 10 year old on a rollaway bed. The room was traditional decore and while it wasn't brand new, (it's after all, a bed and breakfast) it was very clean and homey. The grounds are serene and peaceful. Loved it! I'm now kind of hoping next time we come to CT that my family's house will be full again just to stay here again. Lol. Thanks to Jean Pierre for making us feel at home in this little piece of heaven. You must give the Stonehenge a try! :)

I drive by this restaurant all the time and finally had the chance to go here. The food was excellent - everything was freshly prepared with quality ingredients. I started with the mixed green salad and asked for some crumbled blue cheese on top - Yum! I am NOT a seafood fan, but was feeling adventurous and knew I had enjoyed scallops when I had tried a bite of them before, so I got the Butter Basted Sea Scallops entree. It was amazing. 4 giant scallops on top of truffled risotto and french green beans (probably my favorite veggie ever). As the name implies the sauce was buttery, but not too heavy and complemented the scallops well. The decor was a little dated for my taste (heinous 70's wallpaper!) but it definately felt like you were in a rustic little inn - which you were. Service was decent - a little slow for my taste, but it was nice not to feel rushed at least. Prices were typical for the area - appetizers $7-12, and entrees $18-30, not too bad! I don't like wine but they seemed to have a decent sized wine list. Overall, I would go back again!
